Chaotic Rhythms is an exhibition of sonic works that explore the various entanglements and intersections of gender and domesticity, work and home, the body and the environment. Against the backdrop of COVID-19 and its many social and personal complications, we encouraged the artists to step out of their comfort zones and utilize the sonic as a medium through which disruption, distortion, or duality creates a framework for sound pieces within the domestic experience. The exhibition features the work of Edzi’u, Helena Krobath, Brady Ciel Marks, Jeneen Frei Njootli, and prOphecy sun.
